So, what have we learned until now? The must important thing we learned before the first midterm is subtitution(Worksheet 1, change of variables). All questions in this worksheet invovles subtitution. But, the question is which subtitution is a proper subtitution. A hint is if you see something like X^2+a^2, we would like to choose X=a tan(u). This hint will work for quesiton (1) and (2). For the rest of them, Partial Fractions would be very useful.
